3 whole, organic plums, cored and blended
¾ cup packed, dark brown sugar
2 tsp sweet, smoked paprika
1 tsp ground chipotle pepper
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 ½ cups cups ketchup
2 tbsp fresh, ground mustard seed (measured before grinding)
2 tsp pink sea salt
1 tsp fresh, ground black peppercorns (measured before grinding)

Mix all ingredients in a medium sized bowl, transfer to a sauce pot on the stove top.

Cook on medium/low heat for about 10 minutes, constantly stirring until well blended.

Refrigerate sauce overnight before use.
